Class Overview: The Firearms Rental Safety is designed for anyone who has never fired a handgun and wants to learn basic safety skills in a fun and safe environment. Guests who are unable to show safety proficiency and want to rent firearms at Shiloh Gun Range must take this class prior to renting a firearm.

LTC Shooting Qualification Only – $45 When:

Class Overview: For shooters who have completed their LTC classroom training portion (online or in-person) and need to complete the LTC shooting qualification portion to fulfill LTC requirements. Equipment Required:
Handgun and 50 round of ammo (Rentals handguns and ammo available)

Class Overview:
Our LTC classes are taught by certified LTC instructors and meet or exceed the minimum requirements defined by the Texas Department of Public Safety. Unless otherwise noted, the class begins at . Students are required to already know how to proficiently load and shoot their firearm and follow basic range instructions. Students need to bring their state issued ID, black pen, notepad, firearm and 50 rounds of brass cased ammo, .22LR and up. Online background check, https://www.dps.texas.gov/rsd/ltc/index.htm can be completed before or after the class, however we recommend doing this before class.
Because of scheduling requirement and class limitations, Shiloh Shooting Range has a strict NO REFUNDS policy for LTC Classes, Basic Handgun Classes and Gift Certificates. You agree that you meet, to the best of your knowledge, the Texas LTC Eligibility Requirements. Neither Shiloh Shooting Range, nor your LTC Instructor, is responsible for seeing that you meet these eligibility requirements. Violation(s) of basic gun safety rules are grounds for expulsion from class without refund.
LTC class rescheduling must be requested at least 24 hours before the day of the class. Students may reschedule a class only twice before forfeiting the class fee. No refunds will be given for non-attendance of any class session once class begins. You are responsible to attend all sessions as outlined in the class schedule.
Basic Handgun – $150 Handgun Essentials is designed to teach you everything you need to own and operate your handgun in a safe manner. We focus on firearm safety rules, grip, stance, sight alignment loading, unloading, and the fundamentals of how to make a firearm safe. If you have just purchased a handgun or have never learned to use your handgun, this is the ideal class for you. By the end of the class, you will know the marksmanship skills needed. When:

Class Overview: Building on the fundamental skills learned in Handgun Essentials, Handgun Progression is intended for those that own and know how to safely shoot their firearm but want to improve their marksmanship and firearm manipulation skills. This course will continue to build your confidence and knowledge of firearm manipulation. Reinforce firearms and range safety

Rifle Essentials is designed to teach you everything you need to know to own and operate your rifle in a safe manner. We focus on rifle safety rules, how to use your rifle, and how to accurately shoot your firearm. This is a great class for new shooters who want to learn how to use their rifle in multiple applications. Class Overview:

Drawing from Concealment / Holster Draw – $125 When:

The Drawing from Concealment Class is for anyone who has a LTC or is looking to get an LTC and wants to carry concealed. This class will show the different ways to carry and how to draw from concealment using those ways of carry. Class Overview:
How and where to carry concealed on your body (Appendix, 3o’clock, etc.)
How to draw your firearm safely from concealment
Clothing types and patterns that help conceal your firearm
Different types of holsters that can be used for concealment (OWB, IWB)
Class can last 45 minutes to an hour depending on the student
